Ireland decides tonight!!

Tonight’s Late Late Show on Irish television will host Eurosong2006, the show which will decide Ireland's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens.

Brian Kennedy will perform three songs and the winning song will be decided by public vote.
Song A:

The show will be streamed live at 21.30 (local time).

Kosovo: RTK wants to enter Eurovision as soon as possible

Kosovarian broadcaster RTK has shown interest in entering the Eurovision Song Contest. The broadcaster will soon apply for active EBU membership and will hope to get it in time to enter the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. As a national selection, they will use a contest which stopped years ago, called Akordet e Kosoves . The question remains whether RTK will be able to get active EBU membership, since countries like Serbia, Russia and Greece can object, as they don't recognise the new Republic of Kosovo.
