Ticket news concerning the exact details of when and how tickets for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest is still yet to be finalised. Early reports that they would begin on January 13th have proved to be a little optimistic, reports esctoday.com.

Ticket sales for the Eurovision Song Contest is something managed exclusively by the host broadcaster and is a task normally outsourced to a reputable ticket sales agency. They are expected to be sold to international fans on the internet.

As we all know, each country must have a back-up jury whose votes are used in the event of problems with televoting. Kosovo: RTK wants to enter Eurovision as soon as possible

Kosovarian broadcaster RTK has shown interest in entering the Eurovision Song Contest. The broadcaster will soon apply for active EBU membership and will hope to get it in time to enter the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. As a national selection, they will use a contest which stopped years ago, called Akordet e Kosoves . The question remains whether RTK will be able to get active EBU membership, since countries like Serbia, Russia and Greece can object, as they don't recognise the new Republic of Kosovo.
