On the 31st January, the final of Eurovision: Your country needs you was held.

During the talent search, it was decided that Jade wil represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow performing the song It's My time written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren.

    Song is Ok - but the lyrics are desperate. Couldnt they think of better words/ I get it already - its your time!!!

    i'm agree with robert... the song is good and the lyrics too bad. but i have my idea about that...
    When Celine Dion won Eurovision, her song was "ne partez pas sans moi" (don't go away without me) and the votes said "ok! we'll won the first place with you celine!!!"

    So Jade wanted to do the same thing: "it's my time! My moment! There's nothing I'm afraid of, I'll show you that l'm made of, Show you that it's my time now"

    Girl!!! only three words and you have a tube: LET ME WIN lol

You will remember at the beginning of July, we reported of rumours of the results of the Turkish back up jury, that showed up some interesting reading. As we all know, each country must have a back-up jury whose votes are used in the event of problems with televoting. However, this year the votes of each jury were used to determine one qualifier from each of the semifinals. Kosovo: RTK wants to enter Eurovision as soon as possible

Kosovarian broadcaster RTK has shown interest in entering the Eurovision Song Contest. The broadcaster will soon apply for active EBU membership and will hope to get it in time to enter the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. As a national selection, they will use a contest which stopped years ago, called Akordet e Kosoves . The question remains whether RTK will be able to get active EBU membership, since countries like Serbia, Russia and Greece can object, as they don't recognise the new Republic of Kosovo.
