Eurovision 2008 Semi Final 2

ICELAND: What an opener. Great song and the crowd get into this one straight away, clapping along as soon as the music begins. Has to get through.

SWEDEN:After a shaky start, she got into it, pulled off a great performance. One of the hot favorites and sure to get through.

TURKEY: A professional, strong vocal performance. Crowd loved it.

UKRAINE: Confident performance and a lot going on stage. A big finish and a big cheer from the crowd.

LITHUANIA: I had technical difficulties here. Cant do the opinion later.

ALBANIA: Not a strong performance, She seems nervous. But the crowd liked her.

SWITZERLAND: I had technical difficulties here. Cant do the opinion later.

CZECH REPUBLIC: His face full of emotion, he sings the slow intro wonderfully before the crowd cheer him into the uptempo bars.

BELARUS: A solid, dependable performance; perhaps Ruslan is saving his very best for the final, should he get through! But the audience are behind him, and he gets a big hand.

LATVIA: Didn't go well. They didn't keep up with the song. Sounded a bit bad. Could cost them.

CROATIA: A charming song, I don't what will happen with this one. The audience like this one.

BULGARIA: The crowd love this one and she performed it well. I think it might just get in to the final.

DENMARK: Very confident performance. Slick and effortless. Has to be a sure for the final.

GEORGIA: The second blind singer to sing at Eurovision. I really like. Great performance. Really hopes it get through.

HUNGARY: Nice Ballad. Looks like a real contest. No messing, great song. A sure for the final. Crowd loved it.

MALTA: Crowd really jumping for this one! Very confident performance. Has to be a sure for for final.

CYPRUS: Very Mediterranean feel to this one.I like it but I don't think it is enough to get to the final.

COMMERCIAL BREAK. DUSTIN IS TALKING TO PADDY ON BBC THREE.

FYR MACEDONIA: Bit on the fence for this one. Remember the country qualifies every year so you never know. Got a muted start from the audience. Big cheer at the end.

PORTUGAL: Now this country is really getting a lot of talk lately. Some websites are saying this could be a dark horse of the contest. Really great performance. Crowd love it. I would be really shocked if it didn't get through.
