Public wont see running order draw for the final??

All kinds of Everything reports that the draw for the running order will take place at the Press Conference following each semi-final, so it will not be seen by the public. There will be a delayed transmission on www.eurovision.tv

In previous years, the draw was done on the night of the semi final, and the order appeared when the presenters called out in no order the 10 countries through from the semi-final.

The EBU have not confirmed the report yet.

Kosovo: RTK wants to enter Eurovision as soon as possible

Kosovarian broadcaster RTK has shown interest in entering the Eurovision Song Contest. The broadcaster will soon apply for active EBU membership and will hope to get it in time to enter the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. As a national selection, they will use a contest which stopped years ago, called Akordet e Kosoves . The question remains whether RTK will be able to get active EBU membership, since countries like Serbia, Russia and Greece can object, as they don't recognise the new Republic of Kosovo.
