Eurovision Song Contest 2008: Live Coverage

Eurovision Begins. Te duem sounds,

Last years winners is on, singing last years winning song in a dance version.

Hosts are on in grey colour outfits (kinda).

Were off...

ROMANIA: Nice opener to the contest. Really great on screen. Great reaction from the crowd.

UNITED KINGDOM: Surprisingly good. If Elton John is looking for his jacket, he knows where it is. Very confident on stage. Don't know how it will do. Great reaction from the audience.

ALBANIA: (Dustin came in live on RTE One (Ireland) talking to Marty Whelan, interrupted the start of the song). I can see why this qualified. She seems more confident than she was in the semi final. Audience like that.

GERMANY: Oh dear, which one has the throat problem, all of them. Was not a strong performance in my opinion. I feel a bad result coming on.

ARMENIA: Brilliant performance. Great reaction, has to be in the top 10.

BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA: So funny yet silly at the same time, I love this and the audience really love this one aswell. This should well.

Camera goes live to Belgrade City Hall. Huge crowd watching the show on big screen.

ISRAEL: Crowd loving this one. Get that man a coat. Powerful performance. Top 10 for sure.

FINLAND: Seriously having doubts as to why this qualified last week, ah well. Very active rock performance. Not expecting to do well. Might go half way in the scoreboard.

CROATIA: A charming song, really one for the old people, if only they could text by SMS. Great reaction.

POLAND: Great song, really love this one. I hope this does well. Great presentation. Crowd love this one.

ICELAND: What a performance. Nice nightclub song. This is sure to do well. Great reaction from the audience.

TURKEY: Another song that I am thinking as to why this qualified. Good reaction but won't do well.

Commercial Break

PORTUGAL: Can she win?? Powerful performance and the crowd love it. This is sure to do very very well.

LATVIA: How did they qualify? really how? A bit of booing and muted reaction from the crowd.

SWEDEN: Big smiles and a powerful performance. Great reaction. She is slotted in 15th, the same as in 1999. Spooky!

DENMARK: The ladies favorite. Charming performance but not expecting for it to do well.

GEORGIA: Great performance and the crowd really love this one. Should do well.

UKRAINE: The hot favorite but will she win? I don't know, its going to be close. A great performance and the crowd love it.

Presenters are back on. They are showing the new trophy.

FRANCE: The first French song in English. Does anyone think he looks like John Waters, writers of last years Irish entry. Comes on in a golf buggie, Backing singers are in beards. This is a sure no, but the crowd like it.

AZERBAIJAN: What a wake up call after France. Great performance. Has to do very well. Average reaction from the crowd, not the same as in the semi - final, reaction wise.

GREECE: Same powerful performance as in the Semi Final. Sure to do well. Great reaction.

SPAIN: Oh dear god, muted start from the audience. I'm speechless. The girl in pink is not funny at all. Bit of booing form the crowd. Don't know what to think of it.

SERBIA: The host nation. Huge big reaction of course from the audience. Brilliant performance.

RUSSIA: Average start from the crowd. This is another country to do well. Big reaction from the crowd.
